I was told that it is Malaysia that has the cheapest Rolex. Stock availability is another matter altogether :Laughing_on_floor:

Malaysia do have the cheapest stocks currently. Prior to 2016, the country which I found to be the cheapest surprisingly was Australia. However, prices have been adjusted and good deals can no longer be found there.

Mostly it's tax calculations... a watch may cost more in another country for it's own citizens but tourists who buy them can claim tax refunds and it usually ends up about the same as the destination country and people save a bit when they sneak it in without paying Customs duties.
Exchange rate differences are usually negligible unless there was a large shift in exchange rates. These usually get corrected at the nice price adjustment.
