What do you guys think about the DJ ii Wimbledon dial watches? Do you guys foresee that it will become a collectible?
-
Are you buying it because you like it or because you hope it will be collectible.
Either way, never really liked the dial just like I never liked the black Submariner or GMT

Personally I quite like the dial. Saw it at Hourglass. But I dont see myself owning it for the long term though.

you saw the two tone version or white gold?
-
I like it. Only issue that I have with the Wimbledon dial is...it is difficult to tell the time. There isn’t enough contrast between the hands and the dial...I blame my ageing eyes that needs reading glasses. Which is why older ppl tend to like watches that are very legible, likes divers...

It is rather attractive, but I find it a tad too busy on the dial somewhat with the fluted bazel. But at the end of the day it is how you feel about it. Does it call out to you? Do you see yourself owning it? Or this is just an investment piece, which I think a datejust will not be as hot compared to the likes of the sub, daytona and gmt. ;)

The two tone one. The pricier option. Haha
