Hi I am new here
Got myself a speedy before the SST kicks in with bracelet but i don't look good with bracelet. Currently using nato strap provided inside the box
The AD can get me the original leather strap and trade in with my bracelet(they topup few hundreds to me). Is it a wise move? Or I should go for 3rd party leather strap?

Generally a watch with bracelet would cost generally more than the same model with leather strap. With that, I won’t advise you to trade in your bracelet strap for leather. Keep the bracelet and get some aftermarket leather strap or continue with the nato strap

Steel on steel
311.30.42.30.01.005
Steel on leather strap
311.33.42.30.01.002
Please be aware both the reference numbers are different.
If you swap to leather means you will have a franken watch.
Best choice is go after market strap or buy the original strap from Omega

so it is best to keep my bracelet in the drawer?
any recommendation for after market strap that close to OEM? how about the buckle with Omega logo?

Yes.
There are many options on straps, take a look at Hirsch, they are pretty reasonably priced.
Buckle can buy from Omega.

You can find OEM Omega buckles / deployants here (although I have to warn that they are pricey).

Thanks ck77 for sharing about Hirsch. Have you bought from them before, and if yes, how's the quality? Sorry for swaying off-topic...
