Hmm! Result says the longest watch repairing time more than 6 months seems normal and did happen.

My experience is 3 months for my PAM & problem not solved.

My GS SD Chrono had to be sent back to Master watchmaker in Seiko Epson. Total closed to 4 months. Painful waiting indeed.

1 to 2 weeks for polishing and 1 to 2 months for overhaul.
-
Sent my victorinox swiss army for repair and servicing which needs close to 4 months to get it done.
-
2-3 months is very very normal. My latest quote provided is 46 weeks. Well I’m going to miss the watch but at least I know it’s been taken cared of.
-
3 month + for my Pam 312 about a few years ago
-
I would like to know those that voted to share
1. Brand of the watch
2. Whether service done at authorized center or 3rd party
3. What was the reason for the long service time? No spare part or unable to service it locally (like some JDM watches)
-
got mine for 2 weeks like tat. maybe is just a small problem, thats way they can done it in jus 2 weeks
-
I just received a call from my service centre after 5 months. It's a long wait but I knew that from the beginning as it was made known to me.
Mine is a vintage Omega Speedmaster cal 321 and I had it serviced in a London antique Omega watch specialist.

Anyone had experience with Ball service center? Mine went in for repair under warranty but yet to receive feedback.
-
I mainly have vintage watches and from experience, 6 months is very normal. I suspect that sometimes the watch sifu just doesn’t have the parts or has no idea how to repair the watch. I even lost one watch for nearly a year before I remembered about it and took it back from the shop - unrepaired!
-
I once waited 6 months to get my AP back from the service center, but that’s more than 20 years ago.

8 months for Zenith

8 months for Zenith
Wow, if I have only one watch, Zenith I have to wait for 8 months to wear a watch again. Does Zenith lend you a similar watch to wear when its being serviced?
