Hi guys,
Let's do this rather unscientific and informal survey to determine which is MWF members' favourite luxury watch brand.
Please help out by voting for your favourite luxury watch brand here.
Only one vote per member please.
The poll will run for only 7 days.

I voted Rolex simply because last year i finally bought my Explorer-1 after lusting for it for over 10yrs.
And finally Rolex came out with something "daring" with the green sub-c date.

Panerai!!!

GO for me, almost pull a trigger on Senator Navigator, but utilized the money for house renovation instead... :Laughing_on_floor:

Looking at Basel n sihh.... 2010
With new CEO Seems rolex changed alot!
New sub is well improved! The bigger explored 1 also eye catching! So my vote go

pam lost it's pricing strategy n scarcity...
Now with manufactore movement, production increase... Worst is so many complaints on movement
new design is ok except the ah Fook version
n not sure y new radiomir down size from 45mm to 42mm... To please china Market?
Mayb we should hv another vote for lower end watch brand. Some of them r really gd!

Good suggestion. I'll post up another survey for more affordable watches later this evening.

I would have voted for MB&F if it is there. But GO is having a good year in terms of some of the excellent watches they are creating. GO also won a couple of “Watch of the Year 2010” and “Goldene Unruh 2010”. There are other more expensive watches but GO is certainly unique: always great looking, classic and elegant.

I vote goes to omega, especially the Vintage model... (modern version usually not my cup of tea)
-
my vote goes to IWC
simply because no other watch brands offers so many desirable models.

:P where is Zenith?
Omega is there Zenith got to be there.
else I say luxury is avg entry level watches starts from US$10K retail

I've added the following brands:
Cartier, Zenith and MB&F.
There is also the option to change your vote in case you wish to vote for the newly added brands.
The limit of 1 vote per user remains unchanged.
-
Rolex to me has a wider appeal than the rest, and therefore gets my vote.
-
I changed mine to MB&F. It is my favorite brand because it is pushing the envelope of horology. I just wish that I can afford one of its creations!
-
Dont we all lol.
I think sell my car and condo also cant afford.

Hehehe. I think I can afford it if I trade in my car for a Proton. ;D
I think HM2 is USD60k. HM4 Thunderbolt should be a lot more expensive!

Agree 100% but still love the brand. The Fook version,.... lots of them here in the pre-loved market. Sigh..... hope 2011 will be better.
-
voted for Omega as I love the PO Liquid Metal...wonder if I can still get it new :'(
-
i got a sub, pam and sinn but my vote is AP
-
i remember seeing some watch chart (x,y) stating (roughly):
entry level below RM1.5K range
low level below RM15K range
medium level below RM16K-RM50K range
high end above RM50K range
maybe that's a better survery :P , but since watches have prices spread all over ... it's quite hard to pin-point...

Rolex is the king of watch brands. Mainly because of the reputation they have managed to attain through the years, and innovation like their trademark oyster case. Rolex watch bracelets are easily identifiable, one look tells you that a person is wearing a Rolex. Although their history is shorter than other brands like Patek Phillipe, Breguet, Vacheron Constantin and Audemars Piguet, Rolex brand image is extremely strong. They do not need aggressive or innovative advertising, Rolex is just...Rolex...it is the only branded watch brand i know and heard of when i was young, only until i was 13-14 i get to know other brands. Almost every Hollywood celebrity, world famous sports person, music legends etc wear or own a Rolex.
Below is a link to the list of celebrities who wear a Rolex

i think should let the voting poll run forever with one person per vote.. Then we can see actually which will be the brand that most malaysian like..
