Hi MWF,
Would like to know which do you prefer and what are your thoughts about both the watches.
And does anybody know the current price for both the piece?
Thank you and have a good day!
-
Airking for the looks but depends who is wearing it. 34mm might be slightly small.
-
I like Datejust more than Air King because Datejust has date.

Depends on which Air-King you're referring to. The previous AK is 34mm while the current AK is 40mm.
34mm - you can only get them at used as it is no longer in production OR you may buy the Oyster Perpetual 34mm which share the same design as previous generation AK.
40mm - you can buy this from the AD and the last time i saw the price was RM20k upwards...
DateJust has several iterations too depending on which on you're referring to. 36mm & 41mm are available from AD and available in all stainless steel (SS), white gold+SS, 2-tone and gold. Prices from RM20k upwards for SS models.
Only you can tell which is your preference. :)

I'm referring to the 34mm for the AK and 36mm for DJ.
I'm also checking the pre-owned market for AK and DJ but was just curious how much is DJ running brand new.

DJ is my personal choice between those 2 models, you won’t went wrong with both though.

I'm leaning towards AK 34mm but just afraid that it'll be too small on the wrist.
-
It is a bit small in my opinion. I have a very small wrist (smaller than my gf) and not a big fan of big watches, however I do feel my 36mm DD is a bit small. So yes, 34mm is small in my opinion. It’s hard to choose I know, AK has a better look.

Current AK gets my vote if you are open for it, seems like the only model that the logo and font came with colors if I remember correctly.
-
i will go for datejust
-
AK 34mm for me due to my small wrist and also the simplicity of it.
-
Rolex Datejust for sure.. Historically, looks and prestige definitely wins it for me.. Air King's Arabic numbers looks kinda flashy/un-classic for me too.. So DJ for lifeeee
-
Rolex DJ for being more classic and and more easily recognisable :P
-
Get the classic datejust
