Read this from another watch forum that Swatch Group does have the official watch brands prestige ranking.
This signboard was shown in one of its Montreal outlet.
Is it real?

From top to bottom.
From most prestigious to most generic.

Out of 18 brands, Omega is no. 7.
To my surprise, Tissot is no. 11, way much above Mido and Hamilton!
-
Longines, best value for bucks
-
I would imagine Tissot, Swatch and Longines are the main contributors in term of the business revenue.
-
ya, swatch group in KL has something similar.

In my on opinion, in terms of movement grade and casing finishing, Certina, Mido and Hamilton should be position higher than Tissot ;D

Actually Tissot highest grade watches are those precious metal le locle made watch. But they are mostly unknown to consumers.
I saw one tissot bridgeport chronograph automatic 18k gold watch, and I mistook it as Breguet.

Looks about right, but it's probably their own in-house ranking based on something like average price per brand rather then pure horological reasons, like how lvmh has hublot > zenith > tag.
