Title: My experience with Anonimo Factory
Post by: phat7 on February 18, 2017, 08:53:29 AM
Hi all. I badly damaged my MOD 2004 Where the crown fell off and the Proprietory crown guard locks lost their pins. This damage pretty much renders the watch useless and from reading forums online, you'd be luckier to find a pink unicorn brandishing a AK47 than the parts ???? Required. I tried my luck and sent it locally and was quoted almost 3k but with modified parts which are not original. This of course was not acceptable to me and I tried reaching out to Anonimo SA. Super polite, sent my watch over and was quoted 2.5k for complete overhaul and revision. Couldn't be happier.

Lesson being, always get in touch with manufacturer before going local service centre.

Sent the watch over by DHL ( service part) took 3 days. 4 weeks assessment and quote. 6 weeks repair. So safe to say 12 weeks.

Hi @phat7 bro.

It seems that it's a common damage on the crown.

Here is another owner shared in another forum.

Yes it's been the archiles heel of the 6'0 clock anonimo crowns. I was assured the new revision would be sturdier so let's see. It's a nice daily beater and it's from their first run after panerai left them for Dead in Firenze  ????

Will do. I basically sent it back after filling up forms to indicate it's a service part. I've never been charged gst but let's see.

It shouldn't have gst incurred for repair and return item.
