Title: My crude watch transporter
Post by: terrenceterrence on November 18, 2010, 11:26:53 PM
this is how i carry my extra watch around when I travel. It's just a cheap pouch which i found in Muji for round SGD 10.

a nifty lil' felt lined pouch which converts into a jewelry tray. just enough space for 2 watches.

held together with 4 snap buttons

once folded and closed, you can see the compartment at the back with 2 slots. i use one for a watch and the other for extra straps

I must admit it does not offer as great as a protection as a harder case watch box. but it's adequate for me and not to mention that it's light and takes very little space in my cabin lugguage.

Cool...

I never bring second watch when I travel, too troublesome...

for leisure holiday same timezone area I normally bring my ball hydroc tmt
it's tough, not afraid of magnetic, water, cold...

When I travel on business or different timezone area... My damasko dc67 will company me. It's good looking n it's tough either...

Don't be too sure about the magnetism. No watch is safe from it. :)

depends on the duration and location, if travelling to adventure places like cambodia/thailand,
i just wear my g-shock,
if going to more "mat salleh" country, i will bring along a dress watch, but just put inside socks lor, hehe...

I always carry atleast 2 watches whenever I travel because that's the only time i get to wear them.

Due to the nature of my job, I only get less than a week and half every month at home. So it is pointless for me to keep them at home and not to bring them along. Also i never baby my watches and i think knocks and scratches are part of the beauty

I find it's never the place that you travel to..it's the neighbourhood that you stay in that is the main concern. As long as u stay in reputable hotels within proper areas, you and ur belongings would be safe.

Not to mention that I am a sloppy dresser and with inks on my body, no one would think that i have anything of value to rob  :Laughing_on_floor:

I wear my Sinn to work because I need the GMT timing and I wear my Pam after that.
