F1 drivers do wear their watches during a race and the pic below proves it.
Massa just getting out of the car and dont tell me the PR person already slap the watch on his wrist ;D

I think is all depend how the contract signed between the driver and the watch manafucturer.
I am not suprise RM put the conditions that require Massa to wear the watch all the time during the race.

For RM its a known fact that he ask Massa to test his watches during races to see if it can cope with vibrations and G-force.

Then how do you explain the pic of Massa just getting out of the car in parc ferme with that RM on his wrist?

At that area NO other personnel is allowed near the car except the driver.

the article from watch magazine claimed that Massa is wearing RM during the race
