Dear members,
Is it better to keep an automatic watch running or let it stop if not worn for sometime?which will prolong the lifespan of the watch? Please advise thanks.

Every time a watch is used degradation happens. Even if not in use, degradation happens, only much slower.

Degradation comes with many forms and types. To me, the most unbearable one is the hands or hour markings start its oxidization process. Then the rusty dial.

Any methods to at least slow the oxidization? Dehumidify?
