Hi guys, I've been lurking around the forum for a while and finally decided to get myself an account here.
I have been a proud owner of a Seiko 5 for a while. It's my first automatic, in fact quite a cheap one at around RM300.
It's been a great watch, but sometimes I feel that it's a little too thick, and the case (39~40mm)is a little small for my wrist. I literally can put a finger on both the top and the bottom at the case to cover my wrist completely.
I intend to wear the watch mainly for work, but I'll still be wearing it out for casual outings anyway.
The dilemma is that dress watches are generally around 35~40mm right? What's left for people with wider wrist like me?

Are there any good options out there?
Things that I'm interested in
-Hand wound
-Moonphase (willing to stretch budget if it blows me away)
I've a strange liking towards epos actually. A few months back a salesman introduced me to this brand, and I thought it was quite interesting.
This is the one I was shown at that time.

After some research, these are freaking gorgeous! Sadly, I think these could way more expensive.

Yeah, this visodate very popular for entry level dress watch and won't be so expensive.

Longines has some nice dress watches within that price range.

Somehow a sales guy told me that despite Longines is a reputable brand, he experienced more returns due to issues with the watches. I'm certainly concerned for this. Can someone validate this claim for me? Thanks!

Get a Flieger A dial, it can be dressy or casual depending on your strap.
Get a Stowa Flieger if you have more budget. Or Archimede / Laco if you want different wrist size.
Laco also offer flieger in Miyota (Japan) movement, hence more affordable.

Flieger watch looks simple and functional! I really like that classic look.
I found out that my eyes are kind of stuck to this design lately... At what price can I get this kind of watch?

If u wanted something like the Oris you shown, take a look at flieger with B dial. Stowa, Laco, Archimede all have it.
Not sure how much the price of the Oris you posted tho.

From the pics you posted, it seems to me you are more attracted by Moonphase and Skeleton than dressy. Go research yourself tho, that is part of the fun.

Haha gotcha, maybe I'm just not sure what's dressy actually is like, thanks for the advice man! Just that I realized that the more I looked, the more I gotta increase the budget and save for a longer period :Laughing_on_floor:

Bro, probably you can try Hamilton Intra Matic, which will cost you less than 3K
