I don't have the model in question but I got another from the same brand - a chronograph. More than 10 years old. Still running well. Rather impress.

I suspect the rubber gasket may be compromised. Not a major problem. Can get that replaced and it should be nice and dry.

I bought an automatic model for my wife during sales, about 7 or 8 years ago at nearly 70% discount. Few days later i noticed some tiny dust inside its dial, but didn't bother to send back to them as it was hardly noticeable.
The watch is still running well though despite years of usage w/o maintenance  ;D
