Now i think the Ultimate 1 watch would be a Rolex GMT Master Pepsi White Gold.

Hahahaha. Feel exactly the same as you do. I personally would think that if I can have only one watch, it would have to be a Richard Mille RM011.

This one.

I'm more of a dress watch person. But since I can only own one watch in this scenario, decided to go for a sports watch that can at times be acceptable with dressier clothing. Another good option would be a vintage Rolex... yumm
-
i will go for ap. ;D ;D ;D

Mine would have to be the nautilus

The Lange 1 has always been my grail among grails..

The Lange 1 has always been my grail among grails..
Funny you should mention that. I wrote on Timezone on hoping that Lange creates a steel watch so I could have a sports watch from Lange... guess what happened....
I got "hentam" (beaten up) kow kow by the purists there. Everyone hated the concept. Most of them want Lange to maintain it's purity in creating excellent movements and beautiful dress watches, not tool watches. They didn't care if Lange could make more money in that market segment or not.
Haha
-
write direct to Lange with your suggestion.
-
Nautilus 5712 to rule them all.

If there could only be one watch, I would go for the classic and simple 5711, in blue no less. Looks good for any occasion, and that porthole harks back to the old sea times.
But on a more practical note, I know that I am one whom loved the classic diver look complete with the uni-directional bezel, and a raised crystal is an added bonus. To that effect, I find the SD4000 to be the one watch for me, on a practical front. I like turning the bezel, and the precise clicks could be quite soothing at times. And without the Cyclops, it looks more balanced like that of the 114060, but better as it has the necessary date complication. I thought of putting the one watch test, to test, all pun intended; and I have been wearing the SD4000 for 2 weeks now, 24 hours a day. Haven't had a peep at any other watches in the winder, and am doing alright. This is one practical watch indeed.

If I could only have one watch to go Antarctica or Arctic, I will bring my Ball EHC TMT along.
