This is a swatch my parents bought for me when I was a kid. How do I open the case since is was laser sealed during production. I just want to take the movement out. I didn't remove the old battery till it leakage and damage the connection. Wonder I can open up and resurrect it and put into another watch case, as a diy. Agreed, swatch cases are not meant to be opened.

The only way is break open the case.
But then again, the movement is pretty generic, and likely can't be functioned anymore.

maybe you can try to remove the crystal to get the movement out.

Must force open the case.. Lots of sentimental value :)

Found the tool that could open the case. Tried lifting it for you but it was stuck. You need to get permission from the owner by calling 1800-888-THOR :Laughing_on_floor:

Thor told me he's busy with Loki now and he gave me HULK contact. :Confused:

Thanks for all your advice.. recently my friend give me a suggestion might work but this need a bit of skill and patience.
He told a dremel tools can help. Just be patience during the cutting.
