Who's own Luminox watch? Quality durability? Really can glow visible anytime in the dark? :)
-
I owned Luminox 3050 series. The quality worth the price I think. Most special feature is the gas tube lume but it is not too bright due the small diameter gas tube not like used in Ball watches. The quality of strap had been improved with silicone strap. Most of Luminox use Ronda movement.

I saw it in real. The case shape is nice. Last year cheras leisure mall got a watch shop close down sales and had special discount . But too bad I was attracted by Seiko Presage and not keen to buy Luminox.
Still remember its Carbon Fibre casing , it was so light.

outdoor? u can never go wrong with G-shocks. Mudman, Frogman or hey, Protreks (i know, not a G but same toughness and ruggedness)

As long as you know your own watch, why would you care what other ppl thinks? The watch serves you and not to please others. But then again we are only suggesting and in the end the final decision is yours to make.
The price for the lowest range Luminox is about 800+ if i am not mistaken, and it is around the price of a mid-range g-shock which i would say is pretty tough and good for the outdoors. i have a cheap, <rm300 g-shock that i wore for all occasions for 11 years. rough tumble and scratches, vehicle accidents etc - no heart pain man.... and it is still running to date although i rarely wear it anymore these 2 years.
if it happens on a luminox i own - i will be punching myself for being so careless. but that's just me.
