My watch has some scratches, actually more like dings (because they are a bit deep to be called surface scratches) near the lugs area. Is there any shops or jewellers that you know who can polish or refinish the watch case to remove the ding?
The watch repair/service shop in amcorp mall, can they do this kind of repair?

For dings, grinding may shed more surface material to bring the flatness back.

The scratches are small, but some of them are medium deep. The watch case i.e. the part of the lug that got scratches/ding is the lug part, which is a satin/brushed finished.
I was told that to remove scratches, need to polish the entire watch case to make sure the surface is even and consistent. It would take a week to do it too. Now I am thinking whether it is worth it to polish the entire watch, or just live with the scratches/dings. Anyone has done a polishing job on their watch before? How was the result?

A recent full polishing job that I had was to a Datejust with diamond markers, done at RSC. I sent the watch in for a full servicing, and RSC included a complimentary polishing. Upon collection, it was shiny as new and even minor dings were no longer evident. I had people thinking that it was a recent new purchase, after that.

Good to know.
I have been to Amcorp Mall and visit the several watch shop there. All of them can do watch polishing, but they don't do it there and need to send the watch somewhere else, which the whole process takes from 3 days to 1 week. A bit long.
Is there a place, a watch servicing centre or jeweller, that I can go to and they can do the watch polish at the shop itself (without the need to send somewhere else)....and have the watch ready in a one or a few hours instead of a week?

TSC@amcorp mall should be doing right there
