Wonder will the quality of invicta go up or Glycine goes down.....from my experience Invicta quality control is a hit & miss issue.

I actually got 2 Invictas. Both divers. Not problems to report. However, in forums etc. there are a number of horror stories about the brand and customer service.

I personally feel this match is good in the long run. Others may have other thoughts.....

This is an interesting development, and should be good to the entry-level watch industry in the longer term. When there are more choices, it's always better for consumers. And since Glycine has some unique designs, perhaps the R&D at Glycine could inspire Invicta to have some real in-house designs instead of a collage of homages of sorts.

The below average brand takes over premium brand. Would this be a Win-Win for both brands? ???

All the best to both brands. Had watches from both brands before, only the Invicta remains.....  ;D

I would take a glycine over an invicta anytime.
As a glycine owner, I don't know how to feel about this news.  :-\

As a Glycine fan I am not sure I like this news, however, I wonder if it means Glycine can retain its design while getting better distribution (it's not always easy to find Glycine watches).

Having owned Glycine and not finding many people whom were exposed to this brand, perhaps the Invicta ownership could open more in-roads towards Glycine's S&M. In return, Invicta could benefit from Glycine's R&D. Win-win situation.

Glycine logo now changes from "Crown" to "Bird". It looks like Armani logo now!

Actually the new logo looks more like a headless Bird.
