If that is the case, do you guys think the boutique and AD will accept watches that was not bought from them?
For example, if I were to buy from boutique A, can I go to boutique B for the after sales enquiries?
what about the pre-own watches?

It will as long as they carrying their brands.
My concerns are whether AD will mark up the service cost and how efficient are they.

I'm with you. My guess is that once we go through AD to send for any form of repair, the price certainly will be jacked up for after warranty watches or those which are not covered

Frankly speaking I prefer to go to the service centre to minimize the middle man cost n get messages across effectively than via a third party now

Seriously it's just sooo annoying. First u pay a bomb for the watches. Now I have to go to AD to send in my watches. Just typical Asian way of making Money. I check in Europe u can go direct. No need AD

I think this is the new marketing style from Richemont. Price might mark up a bit ( i guess ) but i think sending through boutique for service might end up you get a surprise gift and some brand privileges for the service fee.

But what do you members think if this really happens, good thing or bad thing? Or making no differences? :)

Anyone has a price list of how much to service an IWC watch (chrono SS and non-chrono SS)?
