It's confirmed! I'm one of the lucky 15 to obtain this watch :)

Congrats.

Congrats. Do share some picture when you receive it
-
Could be the first and only Malaysian
-
Wow! Congrats, Adam!
What's the investment value?
-
wow..! congrats..
-
WOW WOW WOWO!! Congrats! Please share some wrist shot when it arrived.

Thanks guys! The retail of the watch is around 12k+ Euroes and obviously there will be no discounts. But I'm not looking to sell this watch. Will hold on to it for as long as I can.... unless of course someone approaches me with an offer I can't refuse ;D
But really, this might be the end of my watch game. I've been selling and buying a few watches here and there to finally reach a point where I'm like, "OK, this is the one. No more watches for myself". Watches in the future will likely be purchased with the intention to sell.
I'm looking forward to going back into the camera game though. Having been a hobbyist photographer a few years back, maybe I'll buy a Leica M9 and some glass to take pics of my baby, and my watch. GG
-
Congratulations on scoring a rare piece! Seems that you have found your true grail. I wonder what are the kind of watches that you have gone through to be able to reach the point of finding "the one". Mind to share? ;D
-
Sure. These are the list of watches in chrono order:-
1) Rolex Explorer ii 16570.
2) JLC Tribute to 1931 Reverso Rouge (still love this one. maybe in the future....)
3) A Lange and Sohne Saxonia Black Dial (selling this one)
4) JLC Reverso Magritte
I'm more of a one watch kind of person. Can't justify to the wife having two high end watches
-
Congrats on your new acquisition. I am so envious of those that is able to be a "one watch person". I have tried for years to justify having more than one watch and I keep failing. Maybe a three watch rotation for a daily, sports and dress respectively. Let's see, in any event...congrats once again and we do look forward to your wrist shots.

congrats man, wear in good health

Wow, can't wait to see the wrist shot of the new acquisition! And interestingly, you had removed the watch that you were wearing, prior to unboxing the new watch, all pun intended.
-
Haha actually I went to the gym in the morning so took off my current watch. Haven't taken the watch out of the protective plastic. Afraid :Startled:
-
btw, thanks guys!

Congrats. Wear it with good health.

You may want to google up on this. Using an M9 for watch photography, especially if you want to get up close, may not be a walk in the park.

Thanks for the lovely gift Adam :Praying:

Wow congrats! What's the masurement of the watch? and thickness? Please post some wrist shots
-
Haha I won't be using the M9 for watch photography. More to like taking pics of my kid. I went into the Leica store and tried the Leica Q, like it a lot.

Some photos I took of my close friends for their pre-wedding photo shoot.

Congrats bro. Pic please.

Hey bro, haven't opened the plastic yet. Cause I might trade it for a FP Journe CB.... if someone is willing to trade. But I think, after a while I might just open it and enjoy it and hold on to it. Still contemplating
-
Let's start chanting 'Wrist shot, wrist shot!" for the accompanying pictures to follow suit...

Apparently, this is not 'The One' afterall! I always find it hard to believe when an active forum member said they've found 'The One'....
Anyway, i would also like to join others to compliment this beautiful watch!
-
I think. There are no 'The One's. Lol. But this is very close to the one. Beautiful watch and exclusive. All the other guys who got this watch have insane Pateks and other high end watches. Im the only poor guy who won the lottery
