Post by: takashi78 on October 21, 2010, 10:43:50 PM
At an AD in KLCC with Danny, Chris and Jacky this evening to view the newly arrived Explorer and also Green Sub.
Green Sub already sold but the Explorer still available.

Too sleepy to give any comments leave it for tomorrow and for now just the pics.

a bit disappointed with the new exp1, the hands is a bit too short ;(

i think they reused the "old" hand from the previous exp1?  :HammerHead:

Didnt ask on the Green Sub, but i think i spied around rm18k plus list for the Explorer.

Well at least for now the new Explorer is not for me, when they up the size i feel it kinda lost its soul or maybe i just got too used to an Exp being 36mm all this while.
May take some time to warm up to it, it however has a matte dial now.
Without the bezel it "looks" bigger than my SD.

As for the green sub, well what can i say, its gorgeous! The green ceramic bezel really sets it apart.
Sales says that the green sub list is around rm2k more than the black.

The green sub is beautiful and the submariner line 2 me has always been one of the most iconic for Rolex.
But the explorer doesn't really appeal to me. IMHO for the same design, functionality and price there are other more appealing  choices.

I didn't like new sub at the first place, but now it is my next target :)
