The trend for large watch is over?
-
There is almost same thread as this topic
-
Not against the 36mm, in face i have even smaller rolex 6694 which i love....
A Nice watch but at chf2400 retail, i would rather go for second hand rolex explorer or air king.....

The trend may be gone but I love the piece.

Without the Bezel, it looks more like more classier.
but, the size would be too small IMO
-
I'm kind of digging this as well :)
-
i have small wrists so smaller is nice... but i guess its a matter of personal taste

Among the 3 Tudor black bay release, I love the bronze the most! Love the Arabic numeral on the dial

It is a classic but 36 is too small, 38 to 41 always a good size. I will skip this
-
It could be more interesting if they could just make the movement in-house since all the BB are now in-house why dont they just make it all models having in-house movement instead..
-
This is not my cup of tea. Black Bay is a diving watch with rotating bezel but without it I find it odd it's still called a Black Bay. Naming convention aside, I think it's a nice piece but I'd rather have Ranger if I don't need a dive watch. And If I'm looking for smaller than 41mm I'd look elsewhere.
-
36mm bb without rotating bazel is actually quite ok in size. ya, taken away the dive watch signature but if it comes with bazel and 36mm would be a bit small. know it first hand, got a SMP midsize, the viewable crystal is just 2mm too small to say the least. mine is sword hand and the dial would feel a bit too cramp. if tudor adopt the bazel the result would likewise. i think this bb would look cool without it.
-
I really like how this looks, very proportional. I wonder how thick it is and what length is the lug to lug.
-
36mm not sound to me even I have a small wrist. Still prefer 39mm and above.
-
yup the bronze black buy looks awesome.
plus it 43mm i believe.
anyone knows when it will arrive in msia?
-
when it will come in Malaysia?
-
I don't think the large watches age is over.
IMO, 36mm might be made to cater to ladies who want to buy rugged watches but find the 41-43mm's too large.
-
its all about preference. mine 40mm is sweet spot. 39-41mm is okay. more than that ill pass.
-

Rolex/Tudor (HourGlass) at mid valley informed ETA to Malaysia is Q3 of 2016. That was last week so the schedule may have changed.

This is too small, IMO suitable for female.

Some of us have the infamous small asian wrists :(. I do wish to see a 38-40mm Black Bay though.

Well Abbas, looks like your wish has come true. Since 2015, Tudor announced that it will now be producing its own watch movements – and presented both a new timepiece, as well as an existing model, each with a new in-house “100% Swiss-Made” Tudor mechanical movement. The Tudor Heritage Black Bay 36 is equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement, TUDOR calibre 2824. Kudos to Tudor for moving on from great but 'borrowed' Valjoux movements.

Looks like the trend of big watch habis lu

I don't think the trend for big watches is over. But rather Tudor is probably trying to appeal to a certain market that is sentimental about clean dials with vintage sizing (which is around 36mm before big watch trend came into place).

Anyone seen this watch in person so far? Sometimes the actual watch feels and looks different from pics. I recall the Tudor heritage black bay black looked nice on photos, but I was pretty disappointed when I had it on my wrist.
