Title: Need help for ladies watch recommendation below 2k

I'm thinking of getting a watch for my cousin's wedding. I've decided to get her a watch. But due to budget constraints, ,my budget is limited to RM2000. Could you guys recommend me some brands to look at?

watch criteria.
Brands - any
Case materials - steel
straps - leather or steel
size - normal ladies watch size
movement - prefer automatic, but quartz are welcome
made - prefer swiss

Post by: kingpin on March 07, 2016, 07:31:31 AM: If 2k budget for preferred Auto and Swiss made lady watch, you can "try" Tissot, Victorinox & CYMA. These brands are 2k ++ for Auto.

Maybe you really needs to try hard to get some discount out of it. Again if you are looking in Quatz, then the choice is a lot that I dont think you need any recommendation.

Coz she/he will keep bugging you on how to adjust the date/ day once the watch depleted its power or early in the month. Just sharing my experience.

I would recommend a Titoni as they have lovely delicate ladies watches. For the budget you mentioned, I did however find

RM2k is quite a tight budget for a new 'branded' watch.

I know you wanted to give a present (a watch) your cousin.
Why not give a 10 gm 'Poh Kong' gold bar. At least that fits your budgets. (strictly my personal choice)
