Not too sure what you mean by "good watch". Anyway here are some of my comments on the watch based on owing this watch since March 2015 (an impulse purchase pre GST).

This watch at 45mm is big and also wears big on the wrist. IMO it suits better on a person with bigger wrist. I have an 8" wrist and yet after many months I still feel this watch wears bigger than my other watches with similar diameter. Because also of the big diameter this watch will not slip easily into the long sleeve office attire. Thus wearing of this watch is limited to short sleeve or weekend use.

Pros
1) I always like simple dial and this watch displays good finishing
2) This rear of this watch is sapphire crystal which shows the movement which again has a very high quality finishing
In fact I always looks at the movement very often and until today I am still very fascinated at the movement
3) The power reserve indicator is a very useful function as this watch is manual wind
4) the Santoni leather strap that comes together with the watch is simply beautiful and matched the watch well

Cons
1) I normally only wind the watch when the power reserve drops to 2 or below days. This translates to many many winding required and having big fingers and a small crown does not help. It not only requires many wind but also requires slight force which sometimes "hurt" my fingers
2) I find the Santoni leather strap very stiff to my liking even after many months of using the watch normally during the weekends
3) Among the few watches I own, I find this watch to be most inaccurate. I however am not to particular on the slight difference on the displayed time especially now when this watch gets less wrist time and I only wind and adjust the watch when I wanted to use it

I would suggest that if you have and interest in this watch you should personally try them on for yourself. There has also been several different versions of this watch released since which might suit your taste and budget. Happy hunting

Not unheard of for movements with long PR to have issues with accuracy. A friend once commented that the Big Pilot was the least accurate watch he'd owned. Might be because of the lower beat rate in order to prolong PR, and once PR is close to running out that is when the movement is most susceptible to accuracy issues.

Good watch to go for? Need advise?

If you like the 8 days power reserve, consider as well the Reverso GMT 8 day. A lot of watch for the money!

This is a very good looking watch. But at this price point, you must be specific about what aspects you are considering. Not just the outlook.
