Recently someone offer me a Omega Seamaster pro 300m (ref : 212.30.41.20.01.003) watch has been used abt 2 years,comes with full box set and the condition i rated it at 95% new since it just with a minor trace on the ceramic bezel, the seller request for rm8500,so need some opinion from all sifus here, is it worth to pay these amount ?

Hi, im not a sifu here haha but the least offer i saw before was RM 9k. I think the price with its condition you got there is quite reasonable. Why dont you nego to 8k? Its not wrong to give it a try ;). Btw, again i think its a good deal :thumbsup:

Just out of curiosity...what kind of "traces" can you find on the bezel? I kinda thought that a ceramic bezel was scratch resistant. Please correct me if I am wrong. My ceramic bezel has been bashed to glory and not one trace of anything on it.

it is just a very very minute scratch line on the bezel...it i'm not wrong,scratch resistant doesn't meant scratch proof,it still can get scratches on it,correct me if i'm wrong.

I do believe ceramic will still get scratched, not as tough as diamond or sapphire, for this matter.
My watches have scars on their bezels

Ceramic bezel is scratch resistant, but not scratch proof. Any substance harder than the ceramic will scratch the ceramic surface, eg. diamond, silicon carbide..etc

If the seller is willing to settle for $8,000, I would be happy to pay that price for it. Good luck negotiating. And post some wrist shots after have procured it.

I'm no sifu.....far from it ...but if it's me wanting to spend on a RM8k watch...I'll be doing extensive research on watches which are of the same price market locally...as well as overseas (ebay, WUS etc.)...This is merely to instill some sort of "Feel Good" factor in ourselves after committing to a certain purchase....Again, this is just my way to eliminate any post buying cognitive dissonance.... Just my 2 cents as I believe you have done your required due diligence :thumbsup:

the ceramic bezel look stunning !!!

whatever you do, never ever attempt to remove the scratch on the bezel...it cannot be done without messing it up.
cos it is actually on the clear coat over ceramic...and the numbers are also printed on.
i have seen cases of ppl polishing the bezel only to remove the numbers also :P
this is unlike the planet ocean bezel which is matt / unfinished so scratches can sometimes be removed using erasers etc.

Omega Sea Master 300m is a good watch with great price. I owned a OSM 300m GMT with transparent back which I bought it from oversea few years back. Still loving it today.

AD should have original ones.
As for aftermarket, check isofrane (btw Bobo Chia sells it) do contact him.

Just saw some sales post on ebay & chrono24 websites. Saw on some forums that Omega has OEM rubber straps so may have to check out omega outlets and see if you can order from there.
