Shared by a few boutiques... Major brands price increase in March... Any idea?
-
That's always the case...if you already have a target and is able to finance it, i would suggest you pull the trigger now
-
As far as I know, notice is not given yet. But some of the brands have already increased, like Oris, Omega, Longines, Hamilton, etc etc..
Some of the boutiques uses this tactic to close the deal, telling you price is going to increase next month/ next week.
But yes most watch brands do adjust their retail price year by year.

Sad, this hobby is getting more and more expensive. Will there be a bubble somewhere?
-
True... Need to speed up n save more$$
-
there are few brands increased one or twice last year, this year feb/mar again? Trust it caused by the currency exchange rate..
-
thought MYR is the best performing currency so far this yr... ??? not fair to us
-
I've finally pull the trigger due to price increase scare. My aquaracer increased from 13.3k to 14.24k soon on the 1st march.
-
Tag heuer will increase 7% real soon. That ia a lot
-
Omega Malaysia increased 7% in Jannuary 2016 compared to 2015 price, However in Europe the price remained same since 2013.
-
For those who already bought your watch prior, do you feel you gain from the increases?
Will that encourage you to continue the buy anticipating that it will get even worst?
-
Ball watch to increase 8% April 1st.
-
Rolex when?
-
Rolex when?
Almost every year without fail... If u plan to get one, then....wat u waiting for... Haha, good luck
-
Prices will only go up and up ...... the only price fall is probably watch maker share price may drop in the current global stock market volatility .... too bad Rolex is a private company.
-
We can't deny the technological trend of smart watches gaining fame & market share... wonder if this would eventually adversely affect the price of mechanical watches
-
Indeed smart watches is gaining ground in the watch space but will be complimentary to major watch makers. I am sure many here would agree, having a smart watch as an additional toy ... with the many features that comes with it.
-
I for one certainly hope not... old school, mechanical for me ;)

When MYR not doing well, watch sellers increase price and blame the powers that be. When MYR does well, nobody gets thanked but prices still go up (this time watch seller says is due to other reasons bla bla bla). When have you seen price watches coming down whether in good times or bad times?

Don't know whether Zenith Malaysia will follow the price reduction. Hope it does so the WIS will benefit from the price reduction.
-
the price of the major brand is increasing year by year, so that matter is the common ,if you can afford the watch you like, you'd better buy it now.

WIS = horosexual
That means he would be more attracted to watches than to women.

New watch price is reduced due to a strengthened Ringgit against the Greenback.
Will price of pre-owned be reduced as well?

Is this true? Which brand has reduced its RSP in Malaysia?

None of the ADs have reduced price, thus far.
But grey import price has come down.
For some models, new watch prices are very close to pre-owned prices.

Was at the Omega boutique this afternoon to get my bracelet adjusted. The sales lady mentioned that there will be a price increase of minimum 5-6% on the 11th next month :( No thanks to our depreciating RM.

I know few luxury brand keeps increase the prices but mainly is due to RM weakening.
