Title: New purchase, none that we seen on this forum before
Post by: takashi78 on September 26, 2010, 02:29:53 PM
Its a clock  :Dancing_banana:
My quartz ticking was abit too noisy at night so i decided to buy a quiet sweeping sec model.
I always loved the more simple and direct design and this one was the most legible that day.
Cheap, good looking.

Now, lets see what other members have as wall clocks or desk clocks. Something we dont often discuss or show around here.

The box

But Chris.....

Buying clock as a present, esp. for house shifting is a bad feng shui according to chinese culture.

Hahaha

I wanted to say just that;-'sung chung' vs 'sung piu'

I also want your 'sung piu' when I shift to a new condo.........not wanting to be greedy...just a nice vintage rollie will do ..

Back to home clock, I had a Grandfather clock (2-holes winding) on my wall...Looking for a more antique - 3-holes version.. if the right one comes along.

I recently bought 2 wall clocks(size 8inch) from the great swedish furniture shop for less than rm4.00 each but
very loud ticking so i removed their second hands. Problem solved but still too loud for bedrooms. For
bedrooms must use digital clocks.

Thats why you buy a silent sweep sec clock.

Peter,
Couldn't agree more, clean sweeping hand is the best for bed room.
I have this at my TV console in my room and this at my bedside.
