Title: IWC big pilot or Rolex Deepsea Dweller?
Post by: DolCeAddicT on December 19, 2015, 01:36:02 PM
The topic says it all, guys? Am planning to purchase either one of these really soon. What would be your preference and why? I already have a ss white face Daytona but nothing from IWC yet, if it helps in decision making. Thank you all in advance for your valuable inputs!

It all depends on what you are looking for in a watch. I would personally go for the DSSD. It is uncommon and it is made with such durability. You can strap on the watch and go anywhere and do anything with the DSSD. Can't say the same with the big pilot. Plus the leather strap makes you kinda be a little more careful when you are around water based activities.

Dssd were created for rugged use. They’re inherently durable. So u are zero worry at any occasion. It will survive for generations simply because the cases and movements were created for heavy use in any extreme conditions.

The big pilot is no slouch either. At 46mm, it is bigger than the 44mm DSSD. The DSSD is just a tiny touch thicker due to its immensive depth rating. The big pilot is just that...big

Deepsea 44mm x 17mm @ 215g

Congrats with you new purchase !  It would be the big pilot for me too . Somehow bigger rolexs doesnt seem right to me , it looks in-proportional to me eyes. And big pilot is one of the watches you need to have !!!  drooolll !
