just wanna know whether or not any forum members have any experience buying sinn through online dealer. the thing is that price quoted by local AD is way too high compare to this online dealer ( authorised sinn dealer).
any feedback are most welcome.
thanks.

Buying any "particular" watch online is some experiences to many. Not only sinn in this case.
Buying over an AD counter has its advantages, where you get to feel / molest the watch before departing your hard earned cash. Buying online is a different story, where you have to take into account whether the watch reaches you in a satisfactory manner and condition.
IMHO, I feel it not worth it buying online, where at times you have to return the watch for whatever reasons (if this particular is available locally). Unless its a rare pc or somewhat the offer a fantastic price structure.

Checked with watchbuys 5 yrs ago or so and they said if we have an AD here which is THG,they will not sell to us

my experience on the U1 is good....good customer relation, watch was okay, overall cheaper than local AD
but do consider was DC said..its still a risk....and there are advantages in buying over the counter..
for me, i went online because..
1-it was a brand new Sinn....after reading forums, i sort of know..the Sinn quality can be trusted.
2. i dont need to hold and feel the watch...was in love with the U1 for many many months
3. Euro was dropping...and priced got cheaper by few hundred RM since last year due to stronger RM.. :Dancing_banana:
4. i was chatting with the online sales rep...and he told me Sinn will increase price in September...i just checked the price online...they did.....
so, its up to you bro....

thanks all...seek explanation on this from the local AD and their answer is that sinn does not have any strict guidelines in term of pricing on their items and its up to the AD to state their price. so in this era of borderless world the best man wins i guess.
in term of servicing the sinn service centre here will accept it but will charge certain amount for it.
for the U1 the difference is not so much but for the 900 series its sure is a lot.
btw its not watchbuy.
thanks again for all the replies.
