Title: Buying a watch from Singapore....
Post by: adamjohari on November 25, 2015, 07:35:17 AM
How does this work? Do you just pay the company over there... They ship it here...

What about taxes and what not? Can you claim tax rebates?

How is GST applied?

Thanks.

Kind regards,
Adam

Saw that one. Was wondering if it was the same for Singapore. Also, I thought singapore has a rebate on taxes at the airport...

If you buy in person in Singapore and then on your way out of the Singapore Airport you can claim back the Singapore GST (make sure you've done the proper documentation at the Watch Shop).  If you buy online and it gets shipped to you in Malaysia, then no tax rebate
