For me, either a Rolex SubC or a GMT
looks good with short/t-shirts and suits :) is not too heavy, and comfortable to wear… and its quality materials will last
a lifetime

If the situation i.e, job is "as is", my one and only choice has to be the Rolex Submariner Date. Ceramic bezel or not, I am not too particular.

go for sub C

Other than mentioning the watch model perhaps we should also share why that particular model was selected. Let me start...
I picked AP RO as the "one watch" due to its versatility. Some have mentioned it does not hold very well to regular wear (as in the case can get scratched quite easily), but it is one of the first luxury sport watches in steel after all. So that covers the sporty side.
On the dressy side, I suppose it's ok to wear a Rolex sports model with a suit nowadays but still the RO has an elegant quality that is hard to find elsewhere. The Genta-designed case and integrated bracelet would go well whether dressed up or down.
The next contender would be the Lange 1 or GO Pano (to be honest I find the GO layout more attractive though it may be 'inspired' by the Lange).

Ill go for my own custom made watch :Dancing_banana:
why, of course because it's one of a kind ;D and i like it when people staring at it and wondering wtf is that watch, i've never seen it before ??? ::) :shocked1:

Why if only own 1 watches....make it at least 3 can????
Feeling difficult to choose....
Do u guys agree????
-
you cannot have 3 wife right ?? u can only have 1… so choose the ONLY ONE you want to have ...

Using this rationale, we can probably choose 4 instead of 3 / or 1
;)

GMT Master II, great for frequent travellers.

For me it is rolex gmt master II..it has a date which is useful to most of us..has a gmt function for the traveller which can be adjusted without affecting main hour, minute and second hands..and 100m water resistant which is good enough for swimming or snorkeling..an all rounder for me

Rolex Sub....2 liner is my favourite, simple, elegant and yet sporty!
-
if I did not get into watches, it would have been the ubiquitous Rolex Datejust. Simple, robust, good for all activities and work.

Moonwatch

No date Sub. Robust watch with a slight twist vis-a-vis other Subs. Plus in case you ran into any financial trouble locally or overseas trip, drop by the local pawn shop and you can exchange for money.
