Hi there,
In the many threads in MWF as well as other watch forums, there are never ending supporters of Rolex Submariner Pre-Ceramic vs the SubC for many various reasons which I won't repeat here. One interesting reason which I have read being posted is the age of the person ie. the older person likes the Pre-Ceramic while the younger person likes the new Sub C. It will be interesting to actually find out from the forumers here. I'll start.
Age: 45
Watch I own: Submariner 14060M 2 Liner

3 pre ceramic submariners . 2 pre ceramic gmt
1 c seadweller 4000.
Age 35.
For me , it's the lug that i dislike , not so much of the bezel . But i do prefer the colour of the metal bezel.

114060. 16600. 16613.
i like both kinds of bezels and both kinds of case profiles.
bracelet wise..new one wins hands down all day every day

Own both 114060 and 14060. Love them both :Dancing_banana: :Dancing_banana:

I dislike all the ceramic Rolexes.
The bezel is too big/wide. The numbering are too fat/wide and thus again, too big.
Again, maybe its my age - 41.

116600, looks clear without cyclops

Sub C LV. The glidelock bracelet is worth whatever oddities one can find on the watch.

41...116610, 116613 & 116333.
Love the size of new generation Rollies.

I own a Sub C Date. I like the pre ceramic versions as well, gone with the ceramic only because it was a good deal at the time.
Sub C is a good watch for what it is. IMO perfect for daily wear and it always looks new. The glidelock clasp is nice to have also.

Ceramic for 100%
Newer the better
The pre c bracelet jus too flimsy
Aluminium bezel insert also outdated, fragile!
Unless those well preserved vintage sub
Which carry some history value

Sub C two tone for me ! 116613LN in black.
Age - 28

Sub-c for me too. Age: 29

one solution to the pre ceramic flimsy bracelet is to swap for a Rubber B. it makes the watch understated while drawing 2nd look from curious eyes.

Currently having Tudor BB58, cause purchasing Sub in impossible in AD these days.
However, I prefer aluminium bezel over the ceramics, so I’ll choose 14060M
