Title: My first online purchase
Post by: G.MAC on September 17, 2010, 08:19:44 PM
actually ordered this watch before the Hari Raya so it only reached me this morning. Saw the packaging. A little excited at the same time disappointed by the watchbox.(http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx236/gmac88/P1010225.jpg)(http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx236/gmac88/P1010226.jpg)It is a Citizen. Unboxing it.(http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx236/gmac88/P1010222.jpg) It is the Orca or the BN0015-07E. Titanium casing with an ecodrive movement. Was looking at it for a long time but cant pull the trigger. Overall i find the watch to be a good bang for my buck.(http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx236/gmac88/P1010223.jpg) Promaster engraved unto the buckle.(http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx236/gmac88/P1010216.jpg) case stands at 48mm. So far i find the watch quite comfortable to wear although i am trying to figure out whether or not i can get the strap changed. as i have not worn the watch long enough, i cannot give a full review but the above is my initial impression of the watch so far.

Congrats bro... never saw one before. The name really suit the watch. This one I think almost the size of the EcoZilla.

Congrats bro. I love the lume on the Orca.

Looking at the box, I think we got our Citizen from the same online retailer.

Congrats GMAC. That's a great looking diver from Citizen.
Is the Titanium case treated with Duractect coating?

thanks guys.

duniajam- fitting name indeed. however even at 48mm it still looks a little small on my wrist. it wears like a 44mm. am looking for the ecozilla or the autozilla but settle for the orca in the end
adrian- that is possible as i only saw this model online. i cannot find it in any retail shops nearby.
danny- i am not too sure about the titanium case treated with duratect as those are normally seen on the higher end citizen models. mine however is cheap plus there is no mention of it so i am not too sure
