Yes indeed!! If you are not after the swiss watch, SBDX001 offers much better value for the price compared to the other brand new Swiss watches in the similar price bracket (in-house Vs ETA, not that there's anything wrong with EtA).....

I obviously don't own the Marinemaster, but have seen one recently, it's so nice....But, i dont foresee myself buying one, unfortunately.....

Buy what u like but in my opinion check around SEIKO PROSPEX for their diving watch series or pilot and land series.

I personally like this piece very much it will fit your budget well with extra spare cash left..it comes with SS version as well..but i like the 1 with leather on it cause it looks more classy with leather..i almost pulled trigger on this piece during my last visit to KL a month ago but my wife keeps on dragging me out of the shop...hahahahaha

Titoni Seascoper, well within your budget.  A little under-marketed brand internationally.  Of course, there is a similar model from Tissot as well.

If are looking for real Swiss watches keep away from Ball (American ) and Huer also not so good as paying so much for not an automatic movement although they but not worth.

I would like to say Ball is real Swiss watch, it is manufacturing in Swiss. The company original started in Cleveland, 1891 but later move to Switzerland and now the HQ is in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Trust me it is a real Swiss watch. If staying away from Ball, then we need to stay away from Penarai (Italy), Cartier (France) and others that not original from Swiss. ;D

Tag "Heuer" comes with Automatic, E.Mechanical & Quartz. By looking in 7K, most probably we are looking not a Quartz watches in Tag and I don't think any way we can get in an in house movement New Swiss watches within or below 7K. Correct me if I am wrong. By the way, Tag ETA is not bad as well.

Not offence, just my 2 cents.

How about hydroconquest chronograph? It meets all your criterias except size which is 1mm smaller.

Yes, many swiss brand owners are not Swiss, eg. Richmont group owned by South African.

I had the same budget & went thru this before. Considered Sinn U1/UX, Damasko DC56, Stowa Skindiver/T01 and etc.

Guess what I bought at last? The infamous MM300/SBDX001.
