it all start when i first time hold seiko tuna in flesh, and i started deeply in love with this watch ;D
so i search all info about the watch, and yes i complete all the research but only the price makes me stop :Laughing_on_floor:
quite expensive for a student back in the day when i was in college :P
so i decide find how to make this kind of watch with a cheaper cost, suddenly i found someone can make ordinary seiko 6309 to be like Tuna.. but again the price is to high around $290 only for shroud :o
and i remember that my relative have a lathe machine so i discus with him to help me make the modded part for seiko 6309

and btw i bought another ugly 6309 because im thinking to build a bronze as well :HammerHead:

in order to mimicing real tuna, i buy an original seiko tuna dial and hand set

and the minute hand and second hand didnt match with the 6309 movement :Mad:
only the Dial and Hour hand that match with 6309 movement, so i started modding the minute hand set by crimp the hole so it fit with the movement.. and for the second hand im using skx 007 second hand (same type with seiko tuna)

nope, i bought the dial and hand set from someone @scwf and the PVD its done by the vendor i know here in Malaysia. ;D
