If that lady is below 35 years old, like to dress up herself, trendy and not an enthusiast in watch collecting.

I recommend Chanel J12. It is not famous among guy but super famous among ladies.

Go get her a Patek 24. It has diamonds, available in gold and best of all, it's quartz. Ladies love quartz (don't ask why).

I got my wife a Patek 24 in SS and she was delighted. More so than the Omega Aqua Terra auto that I bought for her 3 years ago.

If your lady is not a WIS, pretty gold and diamond watch in quartz is the way to go.

Not all women can carry a Daytona or Sub -- they need to have the right wrist for that!

Budget aside, you might consider the options above that have already been posted. Here are some of my personal preferences:

1. PP TwentyFour
2. AP Lady Royal Oak (prefer the older, smaller size)
3. Cartier Tank (not bugged by the awful dissymmetry of the Cartier Santos!)
4. JLC Lady Reverso (again, not suitable for all wrists)
5. Rolex Lady Datejust (can never go wrong with this)

Actually I remember seeing a picture of a blue dial 34mm Rolex Air king on a ladies wrist and it looked really good too!
