Hahaha... When u mentioned "unbelievable price"... I was thinking good deal.
When I scrolled down... ouch... UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Isn't the MT-G a better watch for the price?
-

Its specifications are good and made all in titanium but at US$3k+ is definitely scaring a lot of people away.
I got this instead - same functions but in G-Shock format and a lot cheaper.

Really unbelievable! The price is killing!

Perhaps Casio is trying to rebrand themselves. I notice the new G Shock lines are quite pricey. A few models ive seen cost more than RM2k which i'm not sure is something i'll pay for a Casio. =/
anyone can verify is it's worth the value to purchase?

I jumped on the Casio bandwagon lately with the purchase of the Gravitymaster GPW-1000 with GPS time sync and solar powered. It is an expensive Casio no doubt but built quality is way better using high grade material compared to the run of the mill Casios. RM2-3k max is what I'm willing to pay for a Casio but not RM10K+.

hmmm thanks ewch. yea RM10k+ we are talking about being able to get a nice Seiko Spring Drive.
btw buddy, your Gravitymaster is 200m or 100m water resistant?

I guess SOMEONE will buy it. Looks like a very serious tool watch and can take some serious beating!

yea there will be a market for any price tag even for Casio i guess. it does indeed. i guess the G-Shock line does live up to it's reputation for being a mean ass watch. LOL.

At this price tag, id rather get a Seiko Astron

Not sure, man.....I could be wrong, but I think the MR-G is marketed as being of a higher grade than an MTG G-shocks. I remember seeing a few at the G-Factory opposite the Shangri-La in Kowloon last year and they were definitely priced higher than the MTGs.

Yup. The MTR is top of the range. Compared to the SEIKO Astron, the Casio has more features

By looking at 10k, I think there are more better option on watches than getting the MTR. Maybe the technology is there but are you sure we all need it and fully utilize on it? LOL, normal G-Shock is ok for me... only my 2 cents.

MRG > MTG > GIEZ
MRG is top of the range in g shock
-
tq for sharing but probably wont spend that much on a Gshock...
-
Sorry I don't have gshock, but I noticed gshock using 4 screws to secure the case back vs other conventional screw back.
Does a gshock require a service? Check the rubber seals?

Of course, all watches require servicing. As for g shocks, its best done everytime a battery change is done. Check the rubber seal for signs of hardening, yes means replace, no means apply some sillicone grease and put back. Of course, most important is the pressure testing after battery replacement.
