Title: Too many watches this year
Post by: peanut on August 20, 2010, 01:40:59 PM
Now I am taking stock of what I have gotten this year and plan for the remaining year   ;D

Purchased
- Ball Fireman II
- AP Royal Oak
- Seiko Discusburger
- Alain Silberstein iKrono
- IWC Portuguese Auto (LE)

If I got SBGE001 in Q4, that will make it average 1 new one every 2 months (and this does not include watches for the mrs)!   :HammerHead:

I don't see a problem if your bank account can cover all your purchases.  ;D

hmm, this topic is interesting.
i started this hobby in march just in time for my bday.

what i bought from march '10.
- IWC 3714
- PAM 104K (flipped)
- PAM 210i (flipped)
- PAM 312L (flipped)
- VC Overseas Chrono
- Rolex GMT IIc
- AP ROO Panda

so, although i bought 7, there still finally was only 4.  ;D
but it was a hell of a 6 months for me

to be honest i had the most fun with the PAM, really a great tool watch.
but because of my agreement with my wife to only keep 4 at a time, i had to sacrifice them to try other things.

i'm pretty sure if next year i can nego to upgrade to 5 pieces, i'd get back a pam 210, 183 or 190. i prefer the radiomirs.
they are so simple and yet so beautiful to look at.
