This is my brothers omega where I notice there's some minor scratches and cuts in the lugs. I know this is not a big deal where it can be hidden if you are using the bracelet but if you are using a leather straps the wounds can be seen. Can this be repaired if I send it back to Swatch group? Hope I can get some advise from the sifus here.

It is inevitable to scratch the inside of the lugs if you change straps often. Should be an easy job to polish off the scratches when it is time for service...if the scratches or dings are not too deep. There is no such thing as replating. All the best.

The dings are not very big. Thanks for the info bro.

Very good tutorial! Thanks. I don think he would dare to repair himself as we do not have the skills of a watchmaker plus that area is very small and its a combination of polish and brushed :(

those look like deep scratches to me, maybe it's the light reflecting.
Swatch group won't remove those marks for you, they'll probably suggest case change if u want it to be perfect.
Also, if those were deep scratches, removing those scratches will mean the lugs become thinner. Depending on what kind of strap/bracelet you want, a gap between strap/bracelet and lug may be visible.
