Was replying to an interesting thread just now and suddenly this thought popped up in my mind.
Many of the current reputable brands survived the Quartz revolution. Some died while some were resurrected and some are still in ICU. :'(
In your opinion, which are the 3 brands that you think will never ever go bankrupt? :o :
My pick would be:
1) Rolex
2) Seiko
3) Cartier

Swatch, Casio

Seiko, Rolex and Swatch. It is probably more interesting to ask which brands will go bankrupt. ;D
-
LOL. Too many then!
Good choices in Swatch and Casio. Dunno why Swatch wasn't the first brand that came to my mind although they're a giant.

Casio, rolex, swatch and seiko for sure

Seiko

Seiko, Rolex, & Casio

Just wondering. Why no one choose Patek Philippe?

Lets face reality, i really think these watch brands will be stable for more and more years:-
1. Rolex
2. Omega ( Swatch Group )
3. Cartier
These brands hold a very strong demand in the world market!

Unless something gone wrong terribly, the Richemont group (IWC, Vacheron, Lange, Panerai, Baume, MB, Cartier etc), Swatch group (Omega, Breguet, Longines etc), LVMH (Tag, Zenith, Hublot, etc), Rolex, Citizen, and Seiko, are all quite formidable. Its unlikely (I didn't conclude that they won't) that any of these brands will be wound up technically/ legally given their stronghold (their parent co) backings. If any, maybe some of these brands will be phased out by their board in the future.
