How can u tell between a genuine or fake rolex submariner? And what does f series etc mean?
F serial number is just what it is, F serial number. It does help to identify basically about when the watch was made. F serial number should be around 2003. Hope that helps.
As for telling between a genuine or fake Rolex, I will leave that to the experts.

Old 5 digit reference gmtii and submariner has the same bezel construction which is 120 clicks.
New 6 digit submariner still has 120 clicks.
New 6 digit gmtiic has only 24 clicks. One for each GMT hour.
