Anyone buy watch from watchlim at JB?are they sell authentic watch? Opinion, please
-
They seems genuine... But can't really tell. Anyone else who has experience?
-
Not so sure though... Only bought some new pieces with box and cert from them before.
-
Yes. All the watches they sell are authentic. I have visited their physical shop a few times. Very reliable guy, trustable. Well established among vintage seiko lovers.
-
Yeah legit bought from him a old Seiko before
-
deal with confidence
-
Bought once from them. Good service.
They do have many watches with what looks like restored or recon dials though. Not sure abt those.
-
Buy with confidence. Shop reputation is always more valueable than the quick bucks they make
-
Bought a vintage Rolex from the shop before. Honest and highly reputable.
-
Pls read the description carefully
Many vintage are stated with non ori case or dial...

Err at least he's honest about it? He do sell authentic watches (other non-vintage models) for sure if that is TS's concern.
-
best go to the physical shop rather than browsing thru their online catalog. might miss out some details
-
Deal with them before. Its legit.
-
I heard respond that their watches are not being cleaned troughly. Can any of the experts here rectify if what I heard is wrong.

What do you mean by not being clean thoroughly?
Is it dirt on the exterior of watch or patina of vintage watch? ???
You can request for watch refurbish but I'm not sure how much they charge.
-
The dirt. Basic clean-up are usual thing that a pre-owned shop would do I assume.
-
I see, so far I don't have this issue. My friends deal with them before, the watch also in great condition.
I'm not sure where did you hear that. Anyway, you still can request them to clean up on the spot if you are not satisfy with the condition, free of charge.
Cheers.
-
Great. Thanks for the clarification.
-
You are welcome, I'm just sharing out my experience. ;)

so depend on what are you looking for!
certain ppl not ok for fake dial, fake bezel.... but some not ok for non ori crystal....
some ppl pay to change to bezel with diamond..
so depend on what you want !

I had bought 2 watches from them on line. 1st watch was satisfied even though the bracelet is not original (they mentioned clearly in their website, at least they are honest).
However the 2nd watch is not up to my expectation as the dial tends to move whenever I pull out the crown. They should hv mentioned this earlier, or repair it first before putting up for sale.

They offer a 3 month warranty on all watches sold.
