swiss movement, chinese character on blue dial, steel mess... strange combo....

this dial remind me of my watch during primary school, also have same chinese characters like this. but it was a quartz movement. ;D

Incidentally, STADLIN did produce quartz models for Chinese characters like these. Using Renata movements, but it also has a second hand that reads "Chinese" hour.
STADLIN was the first Swiss watchmaker to work in the Imperial Palace during Kang-Xi era. The Chinese Character watch was made to commemorate STADLIN.
Take a look at these quartz models, I am not sure if this is better, the same or "less superior" to the ones you had during your primary school days.
The "Green" dial one is a full Superluminova dial.
