Any suggestions for places to explore watch shopping in Bangkok ?
-
Most of the watches are in the departmental store (example: siam paragon, central world)...pricing wise, in overall higher than Malaysia.
you could see a lot of Nomos there
-
buy in malaysia. here cheaper
-
Thanks for the info

malaysia price is competitive nowadays, unless u able to swing by taiwan / hong kong / japan. just my opinion
-
Unless u can get a really great deal in Bangkok, prices here is more competitive... And u build a rapport with d shops here....
-
Try the used watch dealers in MBK mall.
Same floor with the jewelers. They have pretty good selections, all genuine.
At your own risk and judgement though!

There are some really nice looking Thailand-only Seiko models that you can find only in Thailand.

Are the Nomos cheaper than direct online purchase?

Compared before, Malaysia can get cheaper price if you negotiate it.

Any good shops which carry Seikos/Citizens or jap watches? like BNIB types? hoping to find a gem if possible.

Yah there are some TH-only models. Try checking out the watch floor or section in dept stores. Siam Paragon has got some Seikos, Orient and other brands.
Have fun shopping!

Is Thailand watch cheaper than Msia now after GST?
Wanted to go for some watch hunting
-
Msia is getting competitive nowadays, but still find/buy some vintage watches in Bangkok
-
I think with our current currency, we cant find cheaper watch elsewhere
-
Agreed about Malaysia being a lot cheaper than Thailand for watches. I was in BKK in September for the Watch Fair, which promise "huge discounts". Yeah right. There was a good amount of cool stuff (I finally saw a Ressence in the flesh) but the prices were very high.
The 2 best places for buying new watches in Asia are KL and India, IMO - the latter doesnt have the same selection that you get elsewhere but for more popular brands (Rolex, IWC, Panerai, JLC, etc), the prices are really good. KL also has some excellent prices.

Will Bangkok offers more variety than here?
