Well some ppl willing to pay more for that watch rather than internet shop because we can see the watch for any dings or etc before we pay our money. If buy online we will not be certain abt the watch condition until the watch have arrive. If there any problem then it will be a hassle to sent the watch back to seller. So for some and for me, i rather see and touch watch right infront of my eye before i pay.

Agreed. Actually my friend know about the Sumo price on the internet. But he is more keen & confident to buy it from the shop. He bought the orange on the 1st place. But after saw my black Sumo... which is more beautiful.... haha.... he not just bought 1.... but 3 black Sumo. Haha... Well, different person have different taste. He got many Swiss, Japanese & others... very huge collections.

Can't say for other brands but for JDMs the 3 popular Japanese online retailers are very good. Anything wrong with the watch, they will cover your shipping costs back to them. Shipping is fast as well, most of the time, I get my watches in less than 5 days. But the bottom line is still a much cheaper price. The shop in SS2 do give you discounts but is pricing it at double the price of what u pay if u get it direct.
When it comes to Seiko collectors, its not uncommon to have more than 1 watch of the same model, one for wearing and one in the box untouched or even 1 each of the same watch but in different color.

Moderator pls move this thread to the weird behavior thread!
Buy 3 same model seiko!
Buy from the shop even knowing the price much cheaper online!

I can quite understand if the price is right..like me i have 2 Rolex subs one green bezel and other reg blk bezel.I sold my GMT II and ExpII to get these .At least the subs are differentiated. Moreover I bought used at a great price. But buying 3 exact same models at grossly inflated prices is beyond me.Then again, its their $$

haha... :Laughing_on_floor: Different people has different taste right? I knew my friend for quite sometime. If he really like the watch, he will buy more than 1. He also got 4 Seiko Monster & other rare chrono.... all the same model. Some are the same color & some are different color but still the same model. Hehe...
