Title: Rolex Batman or Yachtmaster Blue Face ?

Dear all sifus,

Am considering either one. Looking for opinions. Love both Rolex Batman & Rolex Yachtmaster Blue Face.

If you were given the choice, which would you pick & why? :Cheers:

For me, it is an easy choice...definitely the Batman.  The yactmaster is one of my least favourite model in the Rolex range.

The sunburst blue dial of the new Yachtmaster is very nice... Not that popular among the other Rolex sports watches, but I would buy and wear what pleases me!  :thumbsup:

I actually like the Yacthman over the Batman .. the Batman never grew on me. But it depends on which you think you will get more mileage from :)

YM: luxury sports, precious metal

Batman: funky sports, GMT

which one suits you? I would pick Batman now, YM after 40's

Love the Batman.. Yachtmaster seems too 'busy' for my taste but get the one that calls to you. Beauty is after all in the of the beholder  ;D

Are you referring to Yatch-Master II or Yatch-Master ?

Well my advice is to get both the Rolex ...... but Yatch-Master II is quite a beauty and not so common to the GMT Batman, of course still not as common as the normal black face GMT

Both are great watches ..... coz they are Rolex :Laughing_on_floor:

Looks-wise Batman. But the YM2 is pretty rare. Only came across once on a person's wrist so far while the Batman is more common.

So it boils down to looks or wrist presence?

There is a big difference between the YM and the YMII.  The YMII is quite interesting if you like the dial design.  The regular YM is just plain boring and not very attractive in my opinion.  Maybe it is because I really do not like how the bezel looks.  There is a reason that it is not very popular.  No point being different for the sake of being different...unless you really like it of course.  I would consider the new green/blue Milgauss, Sub C, seadweller or even the Explorer 2 Polar alongside the Batman.

I vote for Batman. It is one of the best GMT watch ever, provided you are travelling to a safe country  :P

I love the batman.  The dual color cerachrom bezel is  :thumbsup:.  Easy decision for me...if I have the cash to splash.
