Title: Female watches ?
Post by: Lazarus7247 on September 14, 2014, 09:57:31 AM
Hmm this might be the wrong section but I'm thinking of getting my wife a watch. Budget is 5k and below. Prefer hand wind / auto if possible. Any suggestions ? If it helps she prefers branding over functionality so I'm also open to quartz.

SevenFriday ? You must be joking right for ladies ? Size 47 unless your lady is huge it would look ridiculous  :HammerHead:

Longines would most probably be right with your budget and the brand is pretty okay then the ones recommended so far ...

Yes.  I would also go with Longines with that budget.  If you are feeling more adventurous, you might consider Junghans as they make very classy Bauhaus inspired watches.  7F for a lady? Errrr.  You gotta be kidding unless your girl is of the ++++++ size variety.  ::)

I'm guessing that your wife doesn't know much about watches? You mentioned that her priority is on the brand. So, those fashion watches should do fine and it's usually no more than 2K.

Yeah, I reckon go for a Longines as well. If your wife has a small wrist, you can consider one from their La Grande Classique collection.

Bvlgari b.zero 1

it's classic, unique and looks expensive. Ask before at Sincere Starhill, around RM6k after discount.

You can get an Omega Constellation quartz for around that range. Still one of my favourite dress watches for women. Else the Longines designs are always simple and timeless

Longines automatic watch for ladies costs about RM4k+, quartz movement is even cheaper. Check out tissot as well.
