Depending on what you want.
Maurice Lacroix is a young brand lacking in history, so their designs can be more modern and without historical baggage.
Tag Heuer has a longer history and their watches' design is normally a modern take on a vintage design.

I am compare PONTOS S, PONTOS S extreme, PONTOS date/day, PONTOS S diver, TAG Heuer 500M CALIBRE 5 Automatic watch.
My budget is within RM8K.

Out of all those models that u named, only the Pontos S Diver and the Tag 500m that I fancy.
The Tag 500m comes with ceramic bezel.
Tried it before and it's pretty nice.
The Pontos S Diver is also quite nice.
Have not seen it in real life, but in pics look really nice.
Both should use the same sellita movements.
If you're so tied up on specs, both beat at 28,800 VPH.
Prices are also similar.

but at rm8k, i rather go get a oris aquis...or two....
or even the longines LLD for below rm5k...after discount :P
i tried the pontos s diver before, yes looks nice in pics.
but in real life, its actually quite heavy...guess thats what you get for a 600m WR case.

I agree! Just top up a little and go for the Tudor Black Bay. The new blue Black bay is a very nice watch!

If you had not seem Pontos S in physical, I would advise you to go check it out before you crack your head. My opinion, it looks nicer in pics than actual.
And I prefer Tag a lot more :)
