Now that the Octopus project is over (finally!), it is time to move on to the next release. I'm happy to finally reveal the design of the Sea Turtle, and the Hawksbill Sea Turtle.

You've probably already seen a few teaser pictures posted on Facebook, Instagram, or WUS, but today you finally get to see the whole watch.

The 2 models share the same CuSn8 Bronze case & crown, double-domed Sapphire crystal, and Seiko NH35 automatic movement.

What's the difference then? The dial and hands.

The Sea Turtle has a classic diver dial, with an arrow hour hand.

The Hawksbill has a dressier dial, with raised markers, and fence post style hands.

So, now you're probably wondering what the price will be. This is where things get really exciting, because I think this might very well be the most affordable CuSn8 Bronze watch ever (correct me if I'm wrong!)

Pre-order price will be $295.

Yes, that is right, not a typo. I repeat, $295! And yes, that includes a leather strap with a bronze buckle. The official pre-order will start shortly and it will be launched on WUS like the Octopus.

Price is super good for a CuSn8 bronze watch.  :thumbsup:
But not too favour on the design.

Nah, im just a watch hobbyist.

Makara is by Nadim from Canada. Its just somehow i owed the Makara Octopus, so i follow Makara a little and thought to share with MWF here in case you guys not aware. Seems many of you interested in affordable bronze.

The Octopus is quite fun to owned. I have 3 ppl asking me about the Octopus when its on my wrist already.

They usually asked: Is that a Bronze watch? haha

Also, the Patina started growing. haha.

Happy hunting. Finally, did preorder a Black Sea Turtle.

The shipping is USD 35 tho. wonder whether can share shipping. Anyone interested to pre-order can let me know too, if you interested to share shipping, i can check with Makara.

i wonder why there isnt any 'no date' version.
still appears to be the same case as the octopus, 52mm almost flat with a higher caseback...means the lugs would be floating and probably over-hanging abit on my wrist.

think i'll pass on this bronzo...again.

I also pulled the trigger Teal SeaTurtle.
Now it's the waiting time.

I've decided to keep it. The patina started to grow on me.

Getting darker...  :laugh:
