Hey guys, I'm new to this watch scene and have a few watches that caught my attention. They are all IWC watches btw
Chrono 3777
Spitfire 3878
Portuguese 5001
Any ideas how much do they costs roughly in KL? Initial budget is RM20k, but can topup slightly more.
Thanks

Vote for spitfire, around 25k if I remember correctly

Yes. I too would go for the Spitfire. The Portofino 8 days is also a good choice if you want something more dressy. However, if I were you, I would go for the Zenith El Primero Tri Color with that budget.

Wow that Zenith is very nice, I saw its going for $8,600. doubt its within RM20k? I maybe wrong.

With the budget mentioned, I believe the first option is well within reach.
the other 2 may require a bit of top up and the top up goes higher as you go lower down the list.
They are all good choices in my opinion and if you caught the IWC bug like me, one is never enough. It's not a question on which one to get but rather which one to get first.
I guess this is where you have to strategize your purchase, get something now that is well within your budget or wait, save a bit more and strike when opportunity comes to purchase a more expensive and higher end choice. Probably at that time, you may even expand that list further.
In any case, between the 3, IW5001 would be my choice.
I have surveyed the prices around KL for the models above so feel free to PM me.
Remember to take those wrist shots once it's in your hands!

I'm in the same dilemma, looking for a watch with a budget of 20k. Was considering either a Panerai PAM 510 or a Breitling Navitimer 01.
The PAM 510 seems pretty tempting, but the navitimer 01 is, too pretty.

Yes you sir definitely are spot on. First option is within my reach comfortably, the portuguese I have to fork double the amount I assume.
To be honest I like all 3, but budget is not on my side for now :( I will get them in the near future if all goes well.
Anyway I have dropped you a PM.
